Uranium Film Festival features “The Ultimate Wish” Saturday February 15 at 1:15pm

February 11, 2014

“The Ultimate Wish:Ending The Nuclear Age” will be screened at the International Uranium Film Festival on Saturday, February 15 at 1:15 p.m. at the Pavilion Theater, Brooklyn.

Five days of unforgettable human stories — from Navajo Nation, still haunted by the legacy of uranium mining, to the latest stories in Fukushima, Japan, where the effects of the 2011 nuclear disaster still continue.

The International Uranium Film Festival is the first film festival to highlight nuclear and radioactive issues in entirety; uranium mining, atomic bombs, nuclear power plants, nuclear waste deposits – from Hiroshima to Fukushima. Since the 2011 premiere in Rio De Janeiro, the Festival has traveled throughout Brazil, Portugal, Germany, India, New Mexico and the Navajo Nation, and now it is coming to NYC.
